The Jesuit Middle School 8th graders made these podcasts for their unit on sound. We studied various properties of sound during the first two weeks of the unit. After some instructions on how to create a podcast, the students created their masterpieces on one of the topics that we studied in the unit. It ended up taking a little longer than I’d planned, but they did a pretty good job with it.

Each group researched and wrote the material for their podcast, then got one science period, one computer period, and one morning or study hall time to record it.
